Cadets' Commissioning, Orientation and Graduation, India Central Territory
The commissioning of the Keepers of the Covenant Session 2024–2026 was a joyful and significant occasion for the India Central Territory. Across a series of spiritually rich services, 24 cadets were commissioned as Officers of The Salvation Army by Territorial Commander Commissioner Daniel Raju Dasari. The events brought together cadets, officers, staff, congregation members, and online viewers in a shared celebration of God’s faithfulness.

Territorial Background
India Central Territory comprises three regions: North Tamil Nadu (Madras-Chennai), Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The Salvation Army work commenced in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, in 1895 by Staff Captain Abdul Aziz, a Muslim, with his friend Mahanada. Captain Abdul Aziz attended a revival meeting led by Captain Henry Bullard in 1884 at Bangalore and subsequently dedicated himself to being a Salvation Army officer. The territory was named the India Central Territory in 1992, with its headquarters at Madras (Chennai). States included in the territory: Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana. 'The Salvation Army' in Tamil: Ratchania Senai (இரட்சணிய சேனை); in Telugu: Rakshana Sinyamu (రక్షణసైన్యము). Languages in which the gospel is preached: English, Tamil, Telugu.
