DIVISIONAL LEVEL YOUTH COUNCIL 2025 EBH CORPS, AHMEDNAGAR DIVISION, IWT

Divisional Level Youth Council 2025, organised by The Salvation Army at Evangeline Booth Hospital (EBH) Corps, Ahmednagar Division, on 16th August 2025, was a vibrant and purpose-driven gathering. Over 130 young people from various corps across the division came together under the inspiring theme “Be Rooted.” The event aimed to foster spiritual growth, meaningful fellowship, and leadership development. It successfully ignited a renewed passion for ministry and unity among the youth, setting a strong foundation for the year ahead.

Sessions and Activities- The council featured a well-structured program designed to be spiritually enriching and highly interactive. The day commenced with a powerful session of worship and devotion, including live music and a reflective Bible study.

Workshops and sessions covered practical and relevant topics such as:

  • Health and wellness 
  • The impact of social media 
  • Vocational guidance 
  • Standing firm in faith 
  • Child protection awareness

 
A Bible quiz was also conducted, with winners receiving surprise gifts. All participants, including officers, were provided with breakfast, lunch, and evening tea. Custom-printed T-shirts were distributed to symbolise unity and participation in the Youth Council.

The session addressed the challenges faced by young Christians today, encouraging them to stand firm in their faith and become agents of change in their communities. The youth responded with enthusiasm, many committing to deeper involvement in their local corps.

Outcomes and Fellowship
Beyond the formal sessions, the council provided a space for genuine fellowship. Youth connected personally, forming new friendships and strengthening existing ones. The day concluded with a moving re-commitment service, where many publicly dedicated their lives to Christ. The event equipped attendees with practical tools and spiritual motivation to serve with renewed purpose.

Conclusion
The Division Level Youth Council at EBH Corps was a transformative and impactful event. It fulfils the mission of uniting youth, deepening their faith, and empowering them for ministry.
