The commissioning of the Keepers of the Covenant Session 2024–2026 was a joyful and significant occasion for the India Central Territory. Across a series of spiritually rich services, 24 cadets were commissioned as Officers of The Salvation Army by Territorial Commander Commissioner Daniel Raju Dasari. The events brought together cadets, officers, staff, congregation members, and online viewers in a shared celebration of God’s faithfulness.

The Covenant Service

The Covenant Service, held on 24 April 2026 at the Assembly Hall of the College for Officers’ Training (CFOT), Nellore, was a sacred moment of commitment. In the presence of territorial leaders and CFOT staff, each cadet prayerfully signed the Covenant. The Territorial Commander’s message challenged and inspired those present, leading many cadets to renewed dedication at the Mercy Seat.

"A sacred moment of lifelong commitment, setting apart new leadership frameworks to serve communities with foundational faith."

The Ordination Service

The Ordination Service followed on 25 April 2026 at the TSA Youth Convention Centre in the CFOT compound. Led by the Territorial Commander and supported by senior leaders, the service formally set apart the cadets as ministers of God, dedicated to a life of sacred leadership and service.

The Commissioning Highlights

The Commissioning Service, the central highlight of officer training, featured the cadets’ declaration of the Eleven Doctrines, led by Major D. Vijaya Lakshmi Dasari, and the presentation of their sessional song, composed by Major B. J. Madhusudhan Rao. Training Principal Major Dani Samuel Raju formally presented the cadets to the Territorial Commander, who administered the pledge and commissioned them as Lieutenants. A message from 2 Timothy 1:6–9 encouraged the new officers to serve with faith, courage, and steadfast commitment.
